Where Children and Teams Flourish

Schools Training

Our founder, Natalie, is a qualified teacher with over X years of experience working in schools as a class teacher, SENCO and EYFS unit lead. She maintains a strong understanding of what high-quality provision looks like in practice. We work in partnership with schools across the UK to provide consultative training, combining current research with practical, realistic strategies that staff can implement immediately.

Sessions are engaging, interactive and designed to build confidence and inspiration — always keeping children’s wellbeing and learning at the centre.

EYFS Training for Schools

We offer a wide range of EYFS training tailored specifically to school settings, including:

  • Understanding Children’s Behaviour – connection, belonging, regulation and practical strategies
  • Getting Ready to Write – developing fine motor skills, mark making and playful pathways into writing
  • Practical Early Maths – hands-on, engaging approaches to early mathematical development
  • Communication and Language – building strong foundations through interaction and play
  • The Magic of Storytelling – nurturing imagination and a love of books
  • Outdoor Play – using outdoor environments to enhance learning and wellbeing
  • Creativity in the Early Years – exploring clay, loose parts, collage and open-ended materials
  • Navigating a Digital Childhood in EYFS – supporting children in a fast-paced, screen-filled world
  • Sensory Processing – understanding sensory needs and creating supportive environments
  • Sensory Play – designing rich sensory experiences that support regulation and exploration
  • Schematic Play – recognising and responding to schemas as a foundation for learning
  • Working with 2-Year-Olds – fostering independence, confidence and purposeful play

Whole-School Training: Understanding Children’s Behaviour

In addition to EYFS training, we deliver whole-school training that reframes behaviour through the lens of child development and wellbeing. These sessions explore:

  • Connection, belonging and relationships
  • Emotion coaching and self-regulation
  • Sensory processing and sensory circuits
  • The importance of movement, play and dopamine hits
  • Fun and joy as drivers of learning and behaviour
  • Staff wellbeing and reflective practice

When teachers and practitioners prioritise connection and nurture a child’s self-esteem, independence and confidence, the impact on behaviour and learning is significant. In recent years, increasing emphasis on academic attainment has sometimes meant that relationships and play have not received the attention they deserve.

This training supports staff to rebalance their practice, placing children firmly back at the heart of their work. When children feel secure, valued and understood, classrooms become calmer, learning becomes more meaningful and teachers feel more fulfilled in their role.

Consultancy Visits

Alongside training, we offer bespoke consultancy visits in schools. These sessions focus on:

  • Reviewing and developing learning environments
  • Strengthening curriculum design and delivery
  • Supporting high-quality interactions and staff practice
  • Embedding play, creativity and independence across the EYFS
  • Tailoring provision for 2-year-olds, who are increasingly joining school-based nurseries

Visits combine observation, coaching and practical recommendations, leaving schools with clear next steps that feel achievable and impactful. Strong relationships are the foundation of effective teaching. With increasing pressure around attainment, it can be easy for connection and play to slip down the priority list — yet these are the very elements that allow children to thrive. This course invites you to reflect, reset and refocus on what truly matters.

This engaging two-hour session is hands-on, thought-provoking and filled with strategies that translate seamlessly into everyday practice. You’ll leave feeling re-energised, equipped with practical approaches you can use straight away, and confident in creating an environment where both children and adults feel motivated and supported.

Ofsted Support

As former Early Years Ofsted Inspectors, we understand the inspection process from both sides. We know what inspectors are looking for — and we recognise how overwhelming it can feel when you’re balancing paperwork, practice and leading a team.

Our role is to bring clarity, reassurance and practical guidance so you feel confident and prepared at every stage.

Pre-Inspection Support

Designed to help you feel organised, informed and ready.

  • Full audits aligned with the Early Years Inspection Handbook
  • Curriculum reviews with clear, practical recommendations
  • Support with planning, assessment and learning environments
  • Guidance on self-evaluation and confidently articulating your practice
  • Leadership support to prepare staff for professional dialogue

Together, we strengthen what is already working well and identify meaningful next steps.

Supportive Mock Inspections

Realistic, calm and constructive.

  • A half or full day in your setting
  • Learning walks and environment reviews
  • Professional conversations with leaders and staff
  • Clear verbal feedback and a written summary of next steps

Our mock inspections build confidence, deepen curriculum understanding and ensure your team feels prepared.

Post-Inspection Support

If your inspection didn’t go as hoped, we help you move forward with clarity and purpose.

  • Review your report and inspection feedback
  • Identify priority areas for improvement
  • Create a clear, achievable action plan
  • Support leaders in rebuilding confidence and direction

Our approach focuses on sustainable improvement while staying true to your values and vision — so your setting can continue to grow, achieve and bloom.
